If someone genuinly belives the tennants of the Jedi religion then it is a bonafide one.... of course, George Lucas (founder and creatior of the jedi religion) based the Jedi on the historical Samuri and their code and faith. He was greatly influanced by Akira kurosawa, a Japanese Film directory of legendary talant.

It works for Scientology too . . . and they are extremely bonafide.

All Thor worshippers are hateful . . . gosh, how could we swing those hammers with such abandon unless we were committed, baptised haters. At least we're friggin' honest about it.

No, sizemik. Thor loves everyone. He promises a golden hammer to all his faithful servants.

True, BUT if they are sincere in doing so they are BONDAFIDE Sith lords!

Woot! That makes me a Jedi! But I haven't killed Darth Vader yet!

Anyone notice that in Return of the Jedi, Luke calls himself a Jedi Master, but he's still not very good...

Guess it's kinda like how you can study for 6 months, get baptized, and immediately pioneer while not knowing much about the Bible...

When does he call himself a master????? I consider myself well versed in all things star wars but i cannot recall luke (in the movies) proclaiming himself a master. What i do recall him saying is "im a jedi, like my father before me".

Well if I remember right, he did so in the books. It's been a while since I've read any, but I used to really be into reading all of them. He was a master in the Jedi Academy series (I think).

If you limit yourself to the movies, then you cannot be a true follower. I have fallen away, but used to be a true follower!
