As somebody who has been through it here a few top tips...
Stay calm - body language and tone of voice are important to avoid looking submissive
Be succint - a few things said really well is more effective that an avalanche of information.
Take control little ways, don't let them dominate.
Ask questions, if you can turn it into something that sounds more like you are interviewing them it is hilarious to see their confusion.
Be very familiar with procedure and take note of any mistakes they make. Either challenge them now or if you are a real masochist keep them up your sleeve for an appeal hearing.

I have some tension because of it all.
Even though I know they have no power over me, I know I would feel the same.
I hate confrontation, which is effectively what this is. You are going into a situation where you know there can only be one outcome if you don't tell them what they want to hear.
Try to stay calm and remember we all support you. You will look back on this day in the future as the day you were finally free.
