Mad, in case you didn't notice, TR is now a member of UADNA, which has it's own agenda which you are obviously not privy to.
Dave, THIS ROCKS! Can they legally prevent you from attending a meeting in a public place? I am ROFLMAO that this dude actually tried to wrestle you out of your seat.

DW, I hope you came out of this OK.
So the elders DO know how to dial "911" - they just forget how when they're confronting a pederast.
Maybe you didn't cry out in pain because you were stunned by the blow. You should seek medical treatment for any injuries you might have sustained during the assault, and you might want to look into filing suit against the elders for false arrest as well as the assault - one elder assualted you, and the others did nothing to stop him. I urge you to seek legal counsel concerning this.
Do you have the tems of your DFing in writing? Do they state that you must attend meetings? Does the Kingdom Hall have a sign saying "Public Welcome"? Did they convene a JC to revoke your welcome at the meetings?
I think these boneheads screwed up procedurally. Do they just not like warm friendly smiles?

Sounds to me like you both acted like idiots. What is the point of going to the meeting? To try and distract them? It will only strengthen their convictions and beliefs that you are evil. It also sounds like the elder didn't think things through. If he was smart, he would have just ignored you.

Introspection
Dave you are so funny. I can't say that I think it's the most effective way, but what happend should make any normal person think. (right, I know that's not what we're talking about..)
It does make me wonder, though: Does having Crisis of Conscience constitute disturbing a religious meeting? I suppose it could, but really what small minds - it's not like there's that much you can get from a glance, the cover only has so much on it and you'd have to really make an effort to read the contents. Of course, I suppose the reason why you got arrested is that it's their word against yours - they had a lot of witnesses.

Umm, it's actually not a public place. Its a private place that is usually open to the public. That is why they were able to call the police to have him removed.

AC,
You should have told that "very heavy" elder about your new diet. It sounds like he could use it. : ) So, were you actually thrown in the pokey until someone bailed you out, or were you just escorted off the KH property? What apostate literature were you reading at the meeting?
It was a handbill I made up it's posted on this board. I was taken to the station and booked court appearance in May. I was just released after finger printing and mug shots. I had some nice talks with the young officers their were about 5 that I talked with extensively about pediphlia in the congregation, and how they believe everyone including the police are going to be destroyed for being part of Satan system, and many other choice things that really got the brothers upset when they were over hearing what I said.
Join the Watchtower or you will die.
Only Jehovah's Witnesses have the TRUTH all other religions EVIL and from the Devil.
You must beleive the Watchtower or you're going to die a painful death forever, isn't that really GOOD NEWS?
