Not really. When they come to my door, I just say a polite "Not interested".

recently I saw two people engaged in a study near where I was sitting.
When the study walked away I considered chasing him down and warning him, but didnt do it.
from the way he was nodding, it seemed like hes already taken the bait.
I was right on the edge though, even if it made me look like a crasy.

I have walked past them and let it be. When one has decided to engage me on the street, and has no idea of who I am- an inactive JW from a specific congregation that wants to remain that way, then I would talk to them.
It has never gotten me anywhere. I have only done it to jar them a bit. I know deep down that they are really viewing disagreements as "persecution" or "prophecy-fulfilled" or Satan blinding worldly people to the obvious, so I think I would just say "No thanks" in the future.

Most will talk to me.

I thought about being in NYC, for example, having a Witness approach me and appear interested only to slyly dismantle them.

I don't like talking to the random JW. I leave my talking to JW's strictly with the elders.

I would say, from what I have seen on this forum, is that the majority of Ex-JWs would have a racing heart and break out in a sweat, if they had to talk to JWs on the street-

On vacation, never, unless they don't know me and I feel like pretending not to be a jw.
When elders drop by unannouced (rude) at the door, I'm polite but no jw discussion and we keep it short and no invitation to come in. We had one male jw try to put his foot in the door and force his way in. No potty stops or water breaks. The KH is less than a mile down the road and 2 fast food places only a mile the other way.
Those going door to door in the ministry skip our house (we are not da'd or df'd)
We meet a few at the grocery store, department store, and where they work, we say hi. If in less than 20 seconds they say they miss us at the meetings (out 10 years and no calls from them), we say goodbye and move on.

Would you ask any question to an unsuspecting JW to get them thinking?
