In view of the residial fear and guilt those of us who leave the Watchtower have to overcome, how does it feel to be someone who suing the organization you one time thought was the true religion?

Do your former friends and family now shun you for speaking out ?

If they are shunning you, do they say they are doing so for some other reason besides the lawsuit?

Do you think winning your lawsuit and payment of the settlement by the Watchtower will cause or lead to the eventual collapse of the organization?

Is there a possibility that part of the ruling, if you win, will be that the Watchtower must make a announcement outlining the details of this case to their members as well as an appology to you?

How long do you see the whole lawsuit process taking?

I think the "did the WTS try to settle" question probably needs clarification. Everyone knows the WTS tried to settle pre-trial and they were turned down. We also know that team Conti 'settled' for a reduced figure for punitive damages post-trial and this avoided a new trial regarding this punitive damages part of the verdict.

The question now is, during the appeal process, has the WTS tried to offer a new settlement?

AnnOMaly....where did you hear offically WTS tried to settle pre-trial....??? Is this fact or assumption because that's what WTS usually does?? I must have missed it somewhere.....

Ooh goodness! It's in the online records - pre-trial. I'll see if I can find it.

Oh dear. I must apologize. I don't know where my head's at today! I made an assumption based on half-remembering the Plaintiff's statement that "the case is not subject to settlement." Thanks for picking me up on it, mind blown. Scrub what I said before.

I need some coffee, I think LOL

Since Rick understands the Watchtower very well from a legal perspective:

is he available to take the Watchtower on for the likes of fraud, forgery, uttering swindling, and racketeering (RICO),

if a very strong, albeit esoteric, case exists?
