I think it's just 'the chosen ones' that get to be taken up to be with Jesus and rule as kings' EP.
The rest of humanity...well, don't really know what happens to them/us. I guess, these special people will be ruling over US, since who the hell else would they be ruling over as kings? Each other? The angels?
I can see the appeal for people who like to dominate others...and KNOW everything.

Oh I get it that's very subtle and clever TEC. It's like the top mob boss who never gets his hands dirty personally. He'll no doubt use his angels henchmen to carry out the dirty deed and say I killed no one. Is that right?

Dazed, the bible is not all one book, one author, nor is it inerrant. So it is not an all or nothing book. You can get an understanding about God by looking at Christ first. If the bible is your only source, then that means you read the gospels FIRST... and judge everything written by the example that Christ gave, in word and in deed.
Don't look at the OT to understand Christ and God.
Look at Christ to understand God, and the other writings as well if you want/need to.
(I mean, you can do whatever you want; but this is what I would advise. Seeing as Christ is the Truth, and not the bible - it does not even make that statement about itself, not even that it is inerrant)
And even if you do take the bible as a whole... it's conclusion... is to look to and listen to Christ for Truth. Nowhere, no one and nothing else.
The god and Christ you paint do seem good but its not the reality from what the bible teaches.
Bible can't give you life though. Bible is not the Truth, Word, or Image of God.
Only Christ is this things.
I think many people think as you do as pertains to what Christ seems to be. He is respected in many different cultures... perhaps not as the Son of God, but as a prophet, or a spiritual leader... even just as a moral man to some atheists (like my husband, lol). His Father is as Christ showed Him to be.

Dazed, the Bible is Tec's booty call. When she need something to give her words an air of legitimacy, she calls up the Bible, talks real sweet to it, promises to never smack it around like that again and then rides it until it done give out.
OTOH, when the Bible opens it's damn filthy mouth and says stuff Tec don't like, it gets smacked around and called a liar faster than Ike smacking and shitting on Tina.

I believe in looking at things in chronological order. Again why pick and choose what you believe? Isn't ALL SCRIPTURE INSPIRED BY GOD? Or just the parts with Jesus in it?
