Odds are it will be fine - unless, of course, somebody deliberately tries to cause a scene.

Don,t go to the wedding alone, if possible take someone with
you. My daughter wedding, because there were so many non-Jw
family members thay were (JW) cordial. Didn,t won't to look stupid
in the presence of worldies.

Jeepers, they didnt even invite you and give a grudging acceptance of you being there, ...dont hold your breath for any kind of welcome.
I'd probably end up in fight or flight response and have to bail early...

Yes take three or four freinds with you, dress modishly,
go up to your family members with your freinds and
see what will happen. Turn to your freinds and say I would like
you all to meet my mom , sister or brother. What are they
going to do, turn around and walk away, I don,t think so.

Dear Nose .... looks like you've had difficult times.
Sorry, this cult business is a $itch!

Hang in there ... I'm assuming that you are male?
If so, getting someone to attend with you won't be too hard.
Rent a 'goodlooker' if you have to, and dress up like you are
one of the grooms men and walk in proud!!!

Are you Canadian? Calgary? AWW you'll be fine!

similar thing happened to me I hadn't been to any meeting for almost a year after my JC but my sister was getting married (this was before my DA) I was also to sign the registrar although I found out later they wanted me removed from doing this! basically I was a little apprehensive and nervous, self conscious but the day passed without incident and I was glad to get out of there, about a year later I was DA'ed. It wont be a big deal IndianNose just keep your head down and it will be over before you know it.

Well, if he's a Calgarian he just has to arrive in a ten gallon hat, white!

Wow, this totally infuriates me. It's almost like a hate crime not even to tell you that she's getting married.
@jgnat gave you some fantastic suggestions. Good luck!
