Thank you Rhett. Well, very well, said. Now, lets move along before it gets heated.
Is homosexuality wrong?

Atreyu-I would have a tough time in those countries, being VERY left handed! When I was in second grade, my teacher forced me to write with my right hand, then failed my papers when they were unreadable! Ooh, was my mother mad! After she visited the office, I was allowed to write with my left hand again :)
I don't think I even want to touch that other issue other than to remember Jesus' words at Matthew 7:1-5. I will say I don't approve of that lifestyle, but feel its not really my business to judge the PERSON. One of my oldest dearest friends happens to be gay and I love him as much as I ever did, he is a better man than some church leaders I know, would give a stranger the shirt off his back. What he does in his bedroom is not for me to judge.
CS Lewis wrote in his book Mere Christianity, something like this: A cold, unemotional prig that attends church all the time may be far nearer to hell than a warm hearted prostitute.
Logical- I agree with you, its whats in the heart that counts. God knows our weaknesses and loves us just the same.
Peace to all......Lauren -

Homosexuals are never wrong, just ask them.

What do you think?
That's right!
We're allowed to think in our post-Cult lives. Now, when you asked that question, were you referring to both genders?
I think that men can stick their Weenies In All The Wong Places.
(hey, wasn't that a popular song years ago?)
But, that same mistake could just as easily be made by heterosexuals as homosexuals. There are many orifices in the world, but you wouldn't want to enter some of them.Just Ask Alice. She Entered a Orifice and got ALL Screwed over.
But acknowledging that, you wouldn't want go and get a bad case of Oriphicophobia.
I've noticed here, in this forum, that if you write something that just hints at a critical thought about homosexuality, you get branded as a "homophobe"... but I think the problem is just the opposite, that this board is chock full of homophytes and homophiles.
Now, my question-
Is bestiality wrong?
What do you think?
Remember, animals, or most mammals have orifices that the human male member will fit into, or the human female tongue will easily enter, and if the members fits, must you submit to the desire to take that ride?
Chuckleheads need not reply.

Animals can't consent to sexual relations with people. So your example is irrelevant.

Animals can't consent to sexual relations with people.
Well they Sure CAN, Nablus.
"Bark twice and that means 'Yes'..."
Who is said to be "(Wo)Man's Best Friend"?
Some animals are viewed as people. Dressed up. Taken to the Beauty Parlor. Live in Fine Homes. Ride in Cars. Go on Vacations and Cruises. Fed better Diets than a lot of humans, some even GOURMET diets.
Cats are a bit aloof, but Dogs are known to do ANYTHING for their Masters, whether woman or man...
so CERTAINLY dogs and other pets and farm animals and sheep and cows,
who are familiar with their caretakers, could be interpreted as
"giving consent" to those who deviant sexual desires needs sating.so your example is irrelevant.
So my example is as Topical as it gets, Smartass!.

Well, this is my opinion. The question of "wrong" or "immoral" is irrelevant.
Bonobo chimps are the nearest living things to humans, sharing something like 98.6% of our genes. This means they and humans split off from a common ancestor relatively recently.
Bonobos have sex several times per day, have it for recreation and to establish peaceful relations. They also have heterosexual and homosexual relations.
To me, this means it is neither right or wrong; it just is.
Therefore, what people choose to do in their private lives is none of anyone's business, IMNSHO.

Another point about bestiality, to Tallyman. I wouldn't have an opinion on that, except what the law of the land says. However, i think the person may need counseling, a lot.
