I believe scripture shows we are mortal, immortality is the gift of eternal life through the sanctification process to immortality. Those NOT part of this "first resurrection" in this life will be judged by Christ at the second resurrection Revelation 20:5, 13. Those NOT found in the book of LIFE are thrown into the lake of fire, aka the second death where hell is destroyed also. It's eternal destruction as the eternal punish-ment NOT conscious eternal punish-ing
