The issue is can God step into the Metaphysical Realm, I could have put Noah's ark in a "Time Vortex" where outside time speed up and inside it remained constant.

    I think you're confusing this...

In order to generate enough water to inundate the entire Earth (including Everest), God would have needed to produce 3,265 times the amount of water you would find on this planet if you melted all the ice caps and squeezed out every last H2O molecule from the globe. Apparently, not only did God do this, but he also neatly disposed of it whilst simultaneously erasing the effects of this crushing mass of water from the geological record.

At some point you have to ask - just how many rules of physics would God bend before reaching a stage where it is just easier to go back in time and start all over again?

    love of jesus-god :

A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, "Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is suffering terribly from demon-possession." Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, "Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us." He answered, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel." The woman came and knelt before him. "Lord, help me!" she said. He replied, "It is not right to take the children's bread and toss it to their dogs." Matthew 15:22

If the remains of Noahs ark was found it would prove Noahs ark. Now that is fantastic! Would it prove that entire globe went under water, no.

The comment of the above writer that it may have been a localised flood but a huge one is a good contender. This being the bursting of the black sea over all around the region. But it would be a great find.

Petrol here is 1.66 a litre. I have my health and a life. I am generous to all and perform random acts of kindness I have a family and just two grand kids. These are the things that fill my mind.

i learned a time ago that the 'what ifs' can ruin your life and the wts thrives on 'what ifs' not doing acts of kindness....

I just love stupidity, I find everywhere especially amongst the deluded!!!

How a scientist determine if the ark-story is true:

    • Get Idea (Horny angels angers God, God covers world in water, 8 people survived in a large box; generous use of acid might help)
    • Derive physical consequences of idea (Ice floats on water mean destruction of glaciers; ie. if no ancient glaciers this would support the ark-idea)
    • Perform observations (Glaciers found in all parts of the world; age >10'000 years confirmed by layer-counting, C14 in microfossils, Oxygen isotope ratios, etc. etc.)
    • Alter belief depending on how well observations were predicted (strong disconfirming evidence)

How a creationist determine if the ark-story is true:

    • Claim the ark-hypothesis is true.
    • See any attempts of figuring out if it is actually true as a "defence", not as a genuine investigation
    • For all disconfirming observations:
      • Claim they support ark-hypothesis per default
      • If any problem, see what AIG says, assume it is good
      • If further problems, make something up on the spot
      • If further problems, claim it was a miracle or "more observations are needed"
    • Conclude the ark-hypothesis is true

    That sentence doesn't make sense.

Ladies and Gentlemen - (no matter what Ballard says) - there is NOT ENOUGH WATER to cover the entire earth, including the tallest mountains, in a Noachian global flood. There is absolutely no fossil or geological evidence of such a preposterous event.

It has been speculated many times (before Ballard's quest) that a localized flood around the Black Sea could have occurred.

Not a global flood that killed off all plant and animal species - such a notion is quite simply ridiculous.

Somebody pointed out that anyone who has ever tried to get a dog into a car knows that the whole ark story is fiction.
