@EntirelyPossible I just read your "open letter". Wow.

For some reason it reminds of a verse about short couches.

I found it. Amos 6. The chapter, book even, is God's feelings, as yours, for the GB.

Ah, well, that was a diffcult time, I am over that now and winning the battles I need to win.

As an aside, I may be going to Italy soon for work, I noticed you said you were there for a while in Rome. I knew a brother, an elder, that said going there as part of a European cruise made him physically ill from all of the statues. Anyway, what parts were awesome? I don't know a single thing about it.

Oh, I read your keyboard confessional, sounds like you and I might be in the same line work, I was just on the West Coast. What do you do? If you are uncomfortable discussing it in open forum, you can PM me (click my name, hit Send Message).

@entirely Sent you a two week itinerary of sorts. The other if you zoom you might be able to read a little of the fruits of those I labored with, ... when in...

There's so much more to share, you could go on a virtual trip based on everything... let's figure something out. Those things are digital signatures, if you know what I mean. :/

**** Yet, we're not adopted as Christ's children, but his brothers and sisters of his "generation" as it were. He as a son of Abraham (in faith) our closest common relative, for those who are not of Israelite (united nation) descent. .... After all this, still not Jew, not Israel. ****

The former World Wide Church of God, Aka Armstrongism goes into great details about these different "Jewish" terms and "labels" that we use without thinking. Also any higher critism that also look at scripture purely in a historic way and doing an exegesis on the text without bias is very beneficial. As regards the WCG's research on the 10 lost tribes of Israel, had me convince that it was possible I decended from the tribe of Dan, it's coat of arms and name very similar to one of the "original" tribes in Ireland, way before the Brits took over LOL ;)...Anyways they go way beyond scripture in this area IMHO...

I would sum it up like this, right or wrong, I Personaly, am led to "SPIRITUALIZE" most stuff, base on scripture. like Christ is the YES to all God's promises, or who is the "Jew" him on the outside in FLESH or on the INSIDE whose heart is circumcised! and produces the fruit of a real Israelite of God !! the killing of the flesh, living in the spirit, the FADING glory of the ministery of the LAW compared to the MORE GLORIOUS ministery of the SPIRIT ....etc.

The great book of Hebrews in the NT, says Abraham and others did NOT have fulfillment in their time but LOOKED FORWARD to better PROMISES ! The Jerusalem ABOVE, The ZION of GOD....all Spiritual to me ! ;)

    Shalom sister

Pterist so you "spiritualize" the restoration too? I understand why no one seems to be able to understand the events of the end of the world as we know it (your Yale ref). It's not understandable if you make the people of the new covenant the same as the restoration.

Also I'm wondering then , doesn't it make the scriptures just basically a story then, good vs evil and learn from the example?
