What is the most valuable thing your mother taught you?

As an aside was she a witness or not at the time?

    Thanks

Don't be like her .... victim mentality, judgemental, holier-than-thou self-righteous bullshitter.

Also, to give the 'devil her due',,, good work ethic, don't gossip.

Edit: and yes, she's a JW, I am 3rd gen on that side, 4th gen on the other.

She was a JW- Taught me that I didn't want to raise my daughter like she raised her's and to be the opposite of her and not be a 'gung ho' Witness.

My little brother [ Who was never baptized] came out of the 'closet' in the 90's and because my mother & siblings shunned him, and called him 'demonized' he committed suicide.

Amelia, it's taken me almost as long to realise I am loveable, don't give up hope in that.

My mother taught me that the cult she is in is more important to her than I am.
