Are we any better then the organization that has hurt so many ? I am a new member and feel the need to ask this question

  Your friend kept advertising a Web Site,that is not welcome to advertise here..

  The owner of that website repeatedly broke forum rules here..

  He was banned from this Forum..Along with the privilage to advertise here..OUTLAW

  You appear to know who this friend is Outlaw....tell me. Does the same rule apply to OTHERS that do this here? Why aren't they banned too?

  Since you appear to know so much maybe you can clarify. Thanks much appreciated.

  Welcome to the forum JWainWashed. I'm sure there will be a lot of topics you will be interested in. As long as you only promote certain websites that Outlaw is OK with.

  No, they should not. At least, not if their opinions are insulting and offensive to others.

  Go look up what freedom of speech is supposed to mean without the blinkered nonsense of years of lawyer-inspired profit inspired manipulation of the true intent.

  You have freedom of speech in-so-far as you can express your political views without anyone coming around to arrest you. Well, probably.

  It doesn't mean I have to provide a platform for you if I disagree with your politics or any other opinions you may have or if you just act like a jerk.

  Your freedoms have thus not been curtailed in any way. So, why don't you put your silly little "I have freedoms" piece of paper back in your pocket because waving it around makes you look a little foolish as does pretending that someone has been treated unfairly because they aren't allowed to freely trash other members or post spam on a site they do not own or contribute to.

  Oh, and "have a nice day ... would you like fries with that?"

  See post above by Angharad, still thinking. The final decision is made by the administrators not Outlaw. Neither he nor me or any other poster has the IT access to remove someone, not even our own posts after the individual time limit.

  First, I didn't realize I was part of an organization by posting on this web site? It's a message board, a message board that happens to strike a deeper chord then most message boards, and that may give it the appearance of an organization at times, but it's just a message board. your attempts at honoring your friend are noble, but you sound extremely naive and young. ask yourself, if you started this web board, you would feel fairly proud of yourself wouldn't you? then picture someone coming here constantly trying to divert people to a different web site to take away your capital and traffic? you want to extend your freedom of speech? then promote the venue which grants you this freedom, not some other venue.

  I only asked OUTLAW..because HE seems to know a lot about it. Making statements like they are a fact. So forgive me for assuming that he KNEW what he was talking about.

  It's an important step in healing...find people who were wounded in a similar way, see how they cope/coped then move on. We're everchanging. today's excuses become tomorrows reasons and the other way around, too. we find other who cope the way we do too. I'm totally impressed by the intelect and wisdom of Cedars, Blondie and Leola...and love the wit and humor others use (Terry, and X-Bethel Billy one the other funny folks too!
