Because he preconceived that the money one way or another would be eventually funneled toward him, thats why

You know I'm going to take that idiots advice.

I will be carefull not to over spend on things that I dont need. I will save my coins. If I ever have the space I'll raise some chickens.

The constant 'Deficit' at every Circuit Assembly was really annoying, expecially when it was fabricated by manipulation- send more to the Wt. than is in the coffers, then guilt trip the faithful to cover the loss.

That always bothers me. Why are they resolving to donate to the WWW while there is a deficit? Answer: Because they know that people will think that is good and hear the word deficit and make up for it.

And they know that the purpose of the assemblies is to get that donation to the WWW and all of the elders will OK it.

Reminds me of how my congregation in former city was looking for land. They had it surveyed. They had a resolution asking if the invoice for work done should be paid. I thought 'duh, if the work has been done it has to be paid'. Like going to a restaurant and having a resolution as to whether the bill is paid. Dumb.

Thanks! That's it! That says it all. How in the world can God be backing the WTBTS?! All they do is beg for cash. There isn't a CO alive that has ever put in 10 hour days of physical labor like I have when I was younger. Yet they come around and have the balls to demand more money? I am the one paying for their insurance and car and clothes! Then they go further and berate Brothers who work full time to care for their families because they don't get 10.5 hours a month?! They sure as heck don't mind taking wordly money from spiritually weak Brothers..
