Probably a woman who was denied a higher education as the end was near and has never tapped into he talents. She now has a shitty part-time waitress job that allows her to pioneer. When her work conflicts with meetings and she misses an odd one, she feels guilty and perhaps gets told by the elders to do something about it. She has the wrong gender to have any more priviledges and needs to cover her head when she does anything remotely close to what a man should do. Poor girl should discover TTATT and start living.
Jehovah generously provides?

I have a similar story.
Several years ago, my daughter, granddaughter and I moved to Reno. At first we lived in a hotel where we paid by the week. Our weekly rent was due each Wednesday, I believe. The hotel would only take cash or a credit card. We used cash, which we kept in a tin in our room.
One evening, my daughter took my granddaughter to a co-worker's child's birthday party. Meanwhile, I went out to gamble.
The next day when the rent was due, a hotel employee had taken advantage of our absence the night before and stolen our rent money. My winnings at gambling the night before covered the rent. So my going out to gamble saved the day!

These 'experiences' become more absurd with every issue. You just have to wonder who makes them up.
In this weeks Jeremiah study is another one, (p78) from Spain. A kid is invited to a party but after talking to an elder explains why he cannot attend. Afterwards he finds out that at the party a girl is raped and three of his friends are severely injured in a car crash where the driver had been drinking!
I can hear the answers now......

My grandma told me a story like that that happened in the 60's. She needed exactly something like $52 and she prayed and they got the money. I said that was because God answered your prayer not because you were a Jehovah's witness...and then I thought...that's the only answered prayer that you got ever? That's sad!

Writing Dept. A-holes. I know that you are under some stress, you have to keep cranking out articles, or else. Please stop making crap up. Why do you have to change the names of those involved?! Oh, that's right, because you make this crap up. Maybe a pioneer needed $66 bucks to make rent, maybe not. Why not tell the El-dumbs that you need $66 bucks? With the latest resolution to bring the missionaries home for conventions being passed, the WTBT$ should have $66 bucks. They should be all over this, after all, you are on the front lines of the life saving rescue work! Write to the GB!!!!!!!!! Ask for some cash!!!!!!!! They have millions!!!!! They have been defrauding widows for decades!!!!! I hope that as a partaker I am found worthy to execute judgment on false religion. If my death will help stop the suffering of billions, then put me in front of the firing squad tonight. Seriously. I don't know all of you, but I will gladly die if it means that the Kindom will come that much sooner. I mean that from the bottom of my heart.

Come on folks, look how Jehovah provided for his chosen
people, Hebrew/ Israelites. He delivered them out of the
desert and made them slaves in Egypt for 300-400 years.
He delivered out of Egypt and they were lost in the desert
for 40 years.(Apparently due to the like of education they couldn,t
determine which way was west or north). Then they become slaves
to the Roman Empire, and became dinner for the lions.
Finally they have a home land (1947), Israel. Yes he really provided
for them generously.
I would tell Jehovah, no thank you, I rather go at it alone.

This is one of the most moronic experiences yet. $66 is probably right around the average amount of tips a server makes during an average shift at a crappy restaurant. Since when is God responsible for average and mediocre results? It's like thanking Jahoover that your Chrysler got 23 miles to the gallon on the way to the assembly.

Its because she (supposedly) got the exact amount that she needed that makes this experience seem so divine to JWs. Its only possible that it was from Jah because he provided the exact change! Shes probly had nights where she made alot more. JWs will accept any vague, passed on story of paranormal intervention as a faith strengthening experience. What makes it all the more depressing is how flimsy and lame these experiences are.

I have an issue saying that Jehovah is the one doing the providing. Please feel free to correct me, but in her case, it was the patrons of the restaurant who provided. Many years ago when I was in Bethel, I had no money to buy gas to get back to Walkill. Didn't know what I was going to do. A kind older sister gave me a green handshake that very night. Two whole dollars! It wasn't much, but back then, it was just enough gas to get me back. Did I ever think for one moment that Jehovah provided? Not one bit. The kind sister provided. Jehovah didn't.
