I never went near any house that had a dog sign, mainly because I was looking for any excuse to avoid making contact with people. Just a gate was enough for me to skip to the next house.... the guy in the next house looks busy lets move on to the next house....... that cat looks creepy better skip that one and ...... I think it's your turn on this door Brother X, I did the last one two weekends ago.

Lol.2+2=5 I've done similar. Looks like they got F1 on the Telly we can get them next time we call. This guy is washing his car he looks really busy. That old lady is planting and she has already given me the evil eye.

"The bottom line is I had no choice but to go to doors with bad dogs, I do not know why I was forced to but I was FORCED TO. I know to most of you that makes no sense why did'nt I just say no. I did, I begged, pleaded, even cried not to make me go to the doors with bad dogs, but I was told it was my service to Jehovah to go to ALL DOORS. I have even been told that they would not move the car until I got out. Now I find it hard to believe myself but it was how I was treated in feild service."

    This was total abuse!

Well http://www.jw.org/en/news/ should post this story so that the rank&file can be informed.

cedars, I didn't watch the video but I think someone else said they saw a beware of dog sign in the news video.

EDIT: Yes, there was a beware of dog sign in the window. Maybe I was just an unusual JW but I was always on the look out for No Trespassing and Beware of Dog signs.

I posted it to a jw Facebook group of 300 that I am part of, asking if anyone knew the sisters and could we somehow help?

Only recieved 1 comment. 20+ comments for someone that posted About preaching where need was great. Typical. Mentioned this story to a family member and they pointed out how work is being spread online in China through displays set up in Hong Kong. I pointed out how China bans many websites and there are 2 billion people who have never heard of jw's between China and Mddle East.

I wish we all could get permits for carry-conceal in case the angels (Giant men who stood behind the sister who talked to the serial killers) are busy helping other witnesses in more trying situations (finding a coffeeshop, breathing on empty cars running on fumes, getting me out of "Jury Duty" and other horrible situations American Witnesses encounter).

I was attacked by dogs on numerous occasions. Never was bit though. I even had to hurdle a fence once. I recall when I was about 20 years old, our CO was visiting and his admonition to all of us was to stop taking our book bags to the door with us. Instead just bring our bible and the publication we are trying to place. This, he said, would make the householder feel more at ease. Well.....I was working door to door in the same group as him and I refused to go to the door without my book bag. He was disappointed and let me know. I informed him that my book bag has, on more than one occasion, been what kept me from getting bit by a dog.

    . . . just perusing:

*** Jehovah Cares for You ***
Are you convinced of Jehovah’s saving power? Are you aware of his angelic protection? Have you personally tasted and seen that Jehovah is good? When was the last timethat you were particularly conscious that Jehovah had been good to you? Try to recall. Was it at that last home you visited in the ministry, just as you were feeling you could do no more?

    w02 10/15 pp. 17-18 par. 16

*** How Angels Can Help You ***
Do angels care for people and protect them? The apostle Paul asked: “Are they [angels] not all spirits for public service, sent forth to minister for those who are going to inherit salvation?” (Hebrews 1:14) Clearly, the answer to Paul’s question is yes.
