I am 100% Agnostics. I challenged believers to give me an
explanation on that matter. My faith was lost, destroyed by
reading the Bible, something I didn,t do as a JW (read the Bible).
Wasblind stated it well, no matter what you choose not to believe
and it feels good to be able to have the freedom to do so. Amen

From the number of religions, sects, splinter groups, and cults in the world, it would appear that anyone can and does judge how they interpret the Bible.
That fact alone should give believers pause.

I read a book, don't remember the name, but i got it somewhere in my house. It theorized that the story of Adam and Eve was taken from the beleif that we humans and animals were once part of the plant world. Eve was, for lack of better memory, like a plant graft from Adam.. . . it went on from there. This is part of the underworld/illuminatu type thinking.

jgnat, unless Aesop's Fables comment is tongue-in-cheek, there is a logical fallacy to contend with
Jam. There are arguments and evidence on how Adam could be the first man, made by
highly educated people. The same with the earth being young.
Google it and take the time to learn and then decide.

I know mentioning his name will get peoples underwear tied up in knots, which to me is an indication
