My criticism of Simon's response to Cedars on this thread is self evident. He used profanity in his frustration in dealing with Cedars, something that he wouldn't allow from other posters. Yet he feels its o k to do himself.
Cedars used profanity in his frustration with another poster. His post wasn't edited. His account wasn't deleted.
A little leeway has always been given here regarding profanity from posters. Can you not allow a little leeway for Simon in his frustration too?
Thanks for posting that Ann. That's what I love about this forum. As long as Simon does not delete the thread it is all there in the archives. It is a great resource for researching recognizable ExJW names even if they are no longer allowed to post here too.
I also find it interesting that the same JWN members that were following Cedars around causing him grief 5 months ago are the same ones leading the bandwagon dissent against him and AAWA today.

Interesting claim. Care to back that up with some evidence? You just acknowledged this forum is a good resource, certainly you can dig up threads with the same posters in this thread 'griefing Cedars' with links to relevant posts by the same people posting here (disagreement with methodology or approach is not the same as 'griefing', in case you somehow think it is).
I thought Cedars was pretty well appreciated and respected here.
(While Cedars is president of the AAWA, I also believe it is important to hold the WHOLE board of the the AAWA responsible for this disaster.)

Grieving?
I am commenting on the very thread Ann referenced above. As I said I find it interesting it's the same exact forum members bickering with him. It's not a claim it's a fact if you look at the thread. That is all.
Grieving?
Dude, are you really that petty?

I called you for evidence and you're going to try to call "spelling" (when you are wrong about it)?
Well that which can be claimed without evidence can be dismissed without evidence.

I was not familiar with that term Lime. Thank you.
Ah ok. It wouldn't be the first time something petty (like say a harmless four-letter word) was thrown out on this thread to detract attention away from the real issues.

Sorry no intent to detract, instead I would like the real issues resolved. It was just an observation from reading the referenced thread. While Cedars is respected by the majority there a some members that are definitely not his fans.
1. A handful of AAWA members have raised issue with being added to the group automatically, with open posts discussing the action and how it can be remedied. Some of these members have chosen to leave the group. The majority however have dicided to stay. You have no way of knowing that. It's just as likely that many haven't even noticed yet. To say that because there are still over 1000 members that they have therefore "decided to stay" is a gross misrepresentation. And still oddly focusing on the wrong thing, as if numbers is what matters, rather than the people's lives that have been adversely affected.
