Funny thing happened to me in FS as a young man, a guy accused us of having an "American Bible", I said "Well sort of", knowing the NWT was peppered with "Americnisms", he said "Look at the cover, it says it is from the New World, that's America". I couldn't argue.

It's the perfect name for their Bible since they are a doomsday cult that have brainwashed millions of Watchtowerites into believing that a Utopian NEW WORLD awaits them and is around the corner.
