Your unhappines there is an obvious sign that its not the right place for you. In your mind, make a mental challenge to south africa to give you the best match to what you need. Then, see what happens. Of course, keep looking for opportunities.

You have to do what's best for your health and sanity Lou.
Having stayed in situations including jobs where I've been very unhappy, Loubelle, I can assure you that I wouldn't ever do it again. I don't know how much economic support you'd get in your country as an unemployed person, so I can't assess how you'd cope, but isn't there a way to scrape by? Here in the UK if there was no support, and I couldn't work in my profession, or was so unhappy, I would clean floors to escape a situation like you describe, just to survive. I don't know if there are such jobs available there either, just to help you through, til you found something more suitable?
Life is so valuable, don't waste a minute in painful, unhappy, debilitating situations, has become my motto. Wish I could help more though. Sending you cyber hugs.

Wishing you every success Lou.
As someone always told me, 'You're an adult now, so go make an adult decision'. The best advice sometimes is what you give yourself. If the job makes you that miserable, then the prudent thing would be to separate yourself as much as possible from the source. Only you know the mental anguish of what you are feeling inside.
Hi hon....I'm sorry for your stressful situation and depression I can totally relate and things do work out check 4 pm..
Don't look at the big picture.....it's way too overwhelming and scary......think your plan through and take baby steps......one day at a time.....one step at a time to get to where it is you want to be.......you'll get there......
Life is not perfect but your changes will be a step toward a happier life....
I'm sending huge hugs and all the positive energy and wishes I can muster for you.
I was once in a job where my passive aggressive boss made me feel so bad I knew I had to leave. I knew I was good at what I did but went home constantly feeling whatever I did was not good enough. Sometimes you are so deep in a situation you think there is no solution and you start losing your self esteeem. If you are feeling so low where you are then you need to leave before the job drives you insane. Other people will appreciate you and value you. So long as you have a strategy and a plan to move things forward and can cope in the short term between jobs you will be better off in the long term.
Run away! Such unhappiness can make you physically ill. You sound like a very hard worker. If the job leaves such a strong reaction in you, it is a sign it is no good. Leave before you feel any worse. A friend asked the college placement the same thing. It is good to have a job ready before you leave. When a job is messing with your inner, it is an exception to the rule. Just walk. Don't give notice.
Mind over matter, LouBelle. Think positive and be strong. Best wishes and warm thoughts for you.
