The Dark Lords appear to be getting desperate. Good for them. And good for you. If the cash flow completely dried up they might finally listen to the voices of those they have harmed for so many years. They don't seem to care about anything else.

Actually I think they would continue to get more and more angry and bitter toward the rank and file if they were feeling the pinch. They are not humble enough to stop and think...'wait, maybe we should do something different.' -

Thanks for the encouragement everyone.
After the May broadcast I found it unconscionable to continue giving to something so false.
It is obvious the men who are taking the lead are in actuality just paper mists being led by someone else. Who that is I do not know. But what I do know is that much damage has been done during the time they have been in charge.

Its kinda funny but right before I woke up I was getting all spiritual doing more volunteering for work at the hall and even contributing money on a regular basis. What a joke. -

An elderly now ex-elder said after he read the letter about the new arrangement to finance building he more than halved his monthly "contribution". Presently he has suspended it altogether.
I quit contributing when local elders decided I wasn't good enough to baby-sit microphones anymore, but could still do toilet cleaning duty. To heII with that shlt!

Just thinking aloud - yes, the WAY they spend our funds in itself is in direct conflict with early Christian practice.
Lurkers, I'd ask you - would Paul have allowed himself to sit in safe offices, enjoy manicures, have his every physical need met ABOVE the needs of the poor and needy in the congregations.
This isn't some petty resentment here on my part - I have a very good lifestyle - but, watch these men. Watch them and those they gather around them. It's not good.
Think of Paul, Peter and John.
Did they live in a protected environment? Did Phoebe, Timothy etc?
And - if after thinking about this - if you feel that one should be delighted that Christ's brothers present this way - well, ask yourself how does it look to outsiders? Urgent end times? Look at them building, building, building - with no expense spared....

This exact thing happened to my Husband! He didn't have enough TIME in to hold microphones or anything else in the Congregation but they had no problem with him cleaning bathrooms or giving contributions.
We made up OUR NEW RULE...not enough TIME recorded, no more cleaning or contributions! Then we left! Yippie...life is good! We were taught that even the bathroom cleaning was a "privilege." Oh really? We let all of our "PRIVILEGES" go!
Now we are spending any additional money we would have contributed on enjoying our life or saving to send our kids to evil college. Also, saving for retirement!
We voted with our wallets! Any Lurkers on here? The best revenge is to vote with your wallets. Let's see how well these faithful ones can rely/trust on Jehovah when the cash dries up.
