Maybe the problem was the Obituary was already written. Isn't that what they do with famous people.

I liked this, a friend of mine posted it on Facebook.
'Mandela will die soon, today, tomorrow, next week...it won't be long. Remember this, he out lived Thatcher. When Cameron (UK Prime Minister) latches on the Mandela bandwagon this week remember that in 1985 he was a top member of the federation of conservative students, who produced the 'hang Mandela' posters.
in 1989 Cameron worked in th Tory policy unit at Central Office and went on a anti sanctions fact finding mission to South Africa with pro apartheid lobby firm that was sponsored by Botha. Remember this when he tells the world he was inspired by Madiba'

LouBelle and I were at the site where he was captured before being imprisoned.
Then later on I was in Cape Town and saw the building and balcony from which he addressed the nation in 1994.
Robben Island is visible from Cape Town too, but I didn't take that tour. I had some scenic nature things I wanted to see instead, but I became very aware of his influence at a critical time in South African history.

Nelson Mandela's condition is reported as critical and death is impending according to the Associated Press. Quite a vigil has ensued over the past week and unfortunately his children are divided on his burial place, a lot of drama and Desmond Tutu appealed to the family to show respect as the world watches.

Evidentally he did not leave a clear will of his funeral wishes, a legal document.
A lesson for those of use whose immediate family may chose practices not to our liking.

Mandela will be a real loss to the world.

okay here is an update on what is actually going on in the Mandela Saga.
Nelson Mandela is on life support, and is in a mostly unresponsive state. The government spoke person of the ANC - Mr. Mac Maharaj has said that he is critical but stable. The Mandela family is in a feud as to where the man will be buried once he passes. He has left a will and is kept highly secure the hands of his attorney and will only be addressed once he does pass.
The south african public have left beautiful flowers and cards at the hospital.
