  Our speaker did not mention this- that the "GREAT TRIBULATION" cannot start to after the "WORLD HEAD QUARTERS" is built! " WITH THE RESSURECTION AROUNG THE CORNER,THE GREAT TEACHING WORK AHEAD, WE NEED THIS WORLD HEAD QUARTERS BUILT'! SO EVERYONE NEEDS TO SUPPORT THIS BUILDING PROJECT"! There was no mention of the Great Tribulation.

  James if what your speaker said is true, then I guess we can count on the GT starting sometime after 2017 since that's how long our speaker said this project is going to take at a miniumum.

  Therefore @ Iamallcool- "that gives me more time to party with women" You may want to stop partying with women around 2016 since it takes about year for you to become repentant. lol

  Our speaker did not mention this either- "if you don't have construction skills to assist the project, each publisher can support the project with funds." There was no mention of funds or financial support requested.

  Our speaker did say that those wanting to volunteer over a year would not fill out the temporary application but an application to become a member of the bethel family.

  Well I think their track recorder for telling when armageddon can't come far more accurate than the track record of when it will come or come by/before a certain date.

  Clearly Warwick represents a combination of messiah/shilo who we know must come. Jesus directly warned the GB that when they see the disgusting thing walking down the hall of 124 to the bathroom that they must get out. For years they ASSumed that this was a figurative getting out but evidently they have now been told to ACTUALLY get out of babylon the great which in an around the bout way is here also similar to jeruselem.

  Just as jesus said when jeruselem is surrounded by the romans to flee to the mountains they must do the same. Key is unlike those 1st century Xtians they know it will take awhile (hell we already looking at a solid century.)

  So since they have to flee from babylon the great/jeruselem and they know that its still gon be a long freaking time till the end why not kill two birds with one stone while chilling next to beautiful lake front property!!!

  I think the Super Apostal Elder was trying to say that when Noah was building his fictitous ark, that God couldn't bring the small towne flood, until he was finished. He was trying to apply it to modern times as if Yahweh is waiting on this project to be finished before he could bring the great tribulation on.

  Well don't hold your breath, not gonna happen.

  I also agree with Angus, who cares if you served for 50 years as a elder. That only means you were mindless drone for that long. It only took me three years as an Elder before I woke up.

  After reading all these posts, I can say the Elder who did our Local Needs part is a former Bethelite(10 years in Walkhill) and probably did some embelishment to the outline. He always trys in his various parts to stir up emotions.

  He started off his part by saying" This outline has been provided by the Governing Body to be covered this week in all the congregations in the U.S. territories". So I assumed whatever words came out of his mouth was directly coming from the GB.

  BTW, I use the tag line "Former Long Time Elder (20 consecutive years Elder, 5 years as an MS, total of 25 years of serving, 14 years of regular pioneering, not raised in the truth)", to remind myself of all the pain inflicted on me by the local elders, some who had an ax to grind. I have been an active JW for over 30 years, NEVER Reproved or congregational disciplined unlike my fellow Elders!

  Years ago, My family bought some Oral Roberts records, but the hole kept healing up and we could never listen to them.
