If you chose to re-unite, what do you honestly see as the probable result? The idea that you might save her 'ending her life' is NOT something to buiuld on. As Jgnat said, don't be lured by the boost to your ego.

Go back and reread all of the posts on this topic and maybe you can see what the rest of us are seeing. If you are bound and determined to get back together then I would suggest you both go together for counseling and that way they will help you both grow. You will either make your relationship better or you will both get mentally healthier and stronger to move on alone.

Breaking up can be so difficult, especially if you haven't been through a hard one before. I don't pretend to know what you're going through, but I have been through one where I did go back, and it was a mistake. All the old problems and reasons we broke up for in the first place were unresolved, nothing had changed. So if you're still thinking of going back, I 'd recommend getting professional advice first.
