The illustration on page 11 does not allow for the earthly class at all,

it would not surprise me to hear that the GB have "discerned" that all dedicated, baptized publishers are part of the New Covenant

I think this is totally possible. I keep hearing that "something big" is coming this annual mtg, and it's not just a bible.

Edit: hold on, let me revise this. ... I believe that all baptized members could be invited to "partake", but a two tier system would remain (as whacky as that sounds)

I just though/meditated on this last night. After thinking about the possibility of the WTBTS ditching 1914 and possibly adopting 586/87 and releasing new light on 1919 and 1935. The sheeple are on high-alert and will accept anything the WTBTS say. An upcoming WT study is grooming and preparing them to follow without question. The Chariot is likely to move swiftly, and all JW's must keep up. How could this take place?

Well, if the GB/FDS can downplay 1914 and have a "clarification" of 1919 and adopt 586/87, then 1935 become a significant year. That is when the Great Crowd was "understood" to be the Earthly subjects of God's Kingdom, as we all know. The GB/FDS can then add the 120 years of Noah to 1935. Although they will never again set a date, they could hint at this in some way. The "End" would still be soon, and they would placate the sheep with a plausible theory on why Armageddon has not arrived.

Also, as you brought out by citing the WT article above, people can start reading what the scriptures actually say. More questions that the WTBTS cannot answer will come to the sheeples minds. So what else can the GB/FDS do? As people learn the facts, something must be done. It is a fact that the Heavenly calling did NOT end when Rutherford said it did. It is a fact that those who fell they should partake are on the rise, not decreasing as the GB/FDS have taught. The figures prove it. The decreasing of partakers, just like the decrease in the generation of 1914, was PROOF that the "END" was imminent! The WTBTS must do something, they cannot DF everyone.

Then there is the generation problem. Job 42:16 proves that the WTBTS is wrong about overlapping generations. We do know the approximate length of a generation. Job was in the 70-80 year lifespan category, unless I am mistaken. The mention of Job's decendants makes it clear what constitutes a generation, and it is not talking about overlapping in any way,shape, or form. I am not saying the WTBTS will ditch the overlapping generation teaching, they probably won't, not yet. Still all these teaching factor in to their problem at hand, and that is how to control the flock as time passes and nothing they have predicted come to pass.

So the 1914 Generation is all but gone. People are getting restless. 2014 is coming, the 100th anniversary of Christ supposedly coming to power. The WTBTS is battling pedophile cases, breaking the law in Australia, spouting hate-speech, and being called out for it. They are in need of money and free labor. They have already said that ALL CHRISTIANS ARE DOMESTICS. The GB/FDS know what we know. It would be very easy to say that all Christians should partake regardless of their hope. Since the sheeple have not reached this conclusion through study, but are simply doing what they are told, it will acconplish some important things for the WTBTS, especially since the sheeple believe that ONLY the GB are the FDS. So Only those at World Headquarters, DIRECTLY INVOLVED in dispensing food ( printing literature ) are the FDS, remember that point.

1) Ditching 1914 and spinning 1919/adopting 586/87 would further distance CTR's teachings and solidify Rutherford's ramblings, which most really know nothing about anyway. Emphasizing 1935 could be a windfall later on down the road by linking it with the 120 years of Noah, thereby buying time for the next "generation" of overlapping "anointed."

2) By having all partake, along with the new GB/FDS teaching ( that's important ) the mystique will be removed from partaking. Remember that all 1st century Christians were partakers and domestics! Even so, the vast majority were NOT in positions of authority, aka Elders, CO's and DO's. So it would make sense that you can partake and not have authority because the WTBTS already teaches this about the 1st century Congregation. The flock can partake and not feel that they have a heavenly hope, because after all, not everyone in the nation of Israel were the priests. A huge " angel of light " factor in my opinion, will be that having all the flock partake will give them what every JW is missing. That is a feeling of closeness with Jesus. That could be the spiritual security blanket that seals the deal, so to speak.

The next logical move in my opinion would be changing the literal 144,000 teaching to a symbolic one. This would dovetail perfectly with the overlapping generation doctrine. If the 144,000 is symbolic, then there is no way to know how many are left, or when the number will be filled. It will be a " wait on Jehovah" scenario. The overlapping of subsequent generations of annointed could continue indefinitely if the 144,00 is symbolic.

3) It will be easier to identify "apostates." Once the sheeple believe that ONLY the GB is the FDS, and that all domestics partake, thereby removing the mystique of partaking, spotting an "apostate" or "sons of the wicked one" will be a piece of cake. The sheeple won't wonder whether Brother or Sister partaker have Jehovah's spirit operating on them, or if they may know something that they don't. They won't secretly consider the questions that a non-GB, or non-Elder partaker brings up regarding problems in the Organization. They won't have to! The playing field will be leveled! All partake as domestics, and ONLY the GB are the FDS and they do not keep track of anointed ones, how could they, the 144,000 is symbolic! Besides they do not consult with NON-FDS anointed! This solidifies the one true channel instead of weakening it.

If you do not agree with the GB/FDS, if you do not listen, obey and be blessed, immediately, you are the "evil slave" or a son of the "wicked one." The proof is that the GB/FDS can never become the " evil slave " as taught in the latest WT articles. How could Jesus appoint an "evil slave" over his " domestics?" Impossible! Consider too, that ONLY those who follow the channel "progress" in the Organization. This will further "prove" who has Jehovah's blessing and who could be an apostate in Satan's kitchen!

If they did do something like this, it would work. My true belief is that it would only be temporary, but it would buy them time, make the overlapping generation seem more plausible ( as long as they NEVER mention Job 42:16 ), and take the glory and mystery out of partaking, while at the same time buying the Corporation more time. They would also seem less cultish and more mainstream to " False Religions" when out in service. Having partakers in field service would go a long way in combatting the " you don't believe in Jesus " objection. This is one of the main reasons that many refuse to listen to Jw's at the door. With their new found relationship with Jesus, sanctioned by the FDS of course, the preaching work would get a much needed shot in the arm of Holy Spirit! How happifying in these " last days " of the " last days."

Those are my personal musings. Any thoughts?

in the page 11 picture the "remaining faithful anointed" are shown to come out of the weeds, whereas

The scriptures Rev.7 1-8 show them coming out of the 12 tribes.

WT missed the chance to use the bible, and

SHOW the earthly class, the 12 tribes, in their position on earth, seperate from the weeds. perched to come out of the great tribulation.

you'd think that before they tell everyone what new light is and who goes where in post armageddon world that they'd at least inform the big guy how many to expect for tea..............all this generation twaddle and partaker muddle is just one big mess.....perhaps the gb need to be tucked up in bed with a cup of cocoa and a cookie....out of harms way to the rest of us........as for listen obey and be blessed..more like listen obey and be stressed........

To be honest, I've thought this for a while - I think I may have posted it earlier:

They instruct all Jws to start partaking and use, basically the gospel as justification, BUT they can retain the whole 'only 144k go to heaven' by using the revelation scripture & the "many are called by few are chosen" scripture.

This would allow:

Them to stop counting 'partakers' & everyone getting pissed/confused because the numbers aren't going down;

They could use talented company men who haven't partaken on the GB & their committees,

A good selling point to the flock "we're all equal, Jesus will chose who he wants"

There's no downside for them to this.
