Yes, a bucket list is good. I have several trips I want to take, did one of them earlier this year.
I want, for instance, to drive around California and revisit my favorite trees: the bristlecone pines (everyone should see those!), Joshua trees, a certain Morton Bay fig tree in San Diego next to the Natural History Museum, Torrey Pines to revisit pleasures of childhood, another Morton Bay fig tree in Santa Barbara, an oak preserve on highway 1 north of SB, Monterey Pines and Point Lobos, and of course the coastal Redwoods north of San Francisco all the way to the Oregon border. Anyone want to go with me?
That's the most feasible trip on my bucket list. I have a couple of other trips in mind, but for them I'd have to write another damn book and sell it, and currently I am enjoying a feast of laziness. Not really lazy, foraging around Mount Shasta and doing lots of canning. Moving to Mount Shasta was the first goal of my bucket list when I realized I'd better get a move on if I wanted to enjoy it before I'm too old.
I realize I'm rambling. So, Coco, whatever you have a hankering to do, find out some way to do it!
