  JWs seem to forget that in order for them to pet Panda Bears forever, BILLIONS must die. My favorite is when you watch a movie like War of the Worlds, or Man of Steel, something with lots of destruction. Many dubs get a gleam in their eye, and they mention how they can't wait for the big A!

  Religion is used as a tool of control.Goverments would not want to cease that source of power by destroying it.

  You never know, this and the growing Atheist population in western lands could very well lead to the turning on Babylon the Great. I mean, look at the sentiments posted by non-believers on this board. Just rabid, angry, and hostile opposers of not just Jehovah's Witnesses, but of any religious disposition. The day is going to come where they're going to resemble Nimrod and his followers.

  i agree with stand for pure worship. it could happen. and i would be so happy to see, in my lifetime, all religion abolished. religion has set humanity back a few hundred years and more.

  I tend to believe that governments will also destroy religion centered around the prophets of old, and guide/direct people towards religious nationalism. Religion has just caused too many problems over the course of human history. I don't thnk we're at the breaking point. Not even close.

  SFPW, if the governments REALLY DO shut down all religion, then how will JWs explain away Armageddon NOT coming (because it won't) and Jah's failure to rescue "his people," because he won't?

  You misunderstand me Oubley, who says that the goverments are going to shut down religions? The Harlot is to be destroyed in fulfillment of prophecy. False religion isn't to be shut down, it's to be destroyed, and in the midst of her destruction, God's people will be targets but the opposers will not have much success as Jehovah will come to the aid of His people.
