"It should be expected that the Lord would have a means of communication to his people on the earth, and he has clearly shown that the magazine called The Watchtower is used for that purpose, " ( 1939 Yearbook of Jehovah's Witnesses , p. 85).

It's one of my saved FAVOURITES on the Wt CD ROM Library!!
w10 9/15 p. 8 par. 7 Earnestly Seek Jehovah’s Blessing
"Without the assistance of “the faithful and discreet slave,” we would neither understand the full import of what we read in God’s Word nor know how to apply it."
God help any man who believes this of themself!

*** Watchtower 1967 October 1 p.587 Finding Freedom with Jehovah's Visible Organization ***
Thus the Bible is an organizational book and belongs to the Christian congregation as an organization, not to individuals, regardless of how sincerely they may believe that they can interpret the Bible. For this reason the Bible cannot be properly understood without Jehovah's visible organization in mind.

Cannot understand the Bible without God's Organization?
Evidently it can't be understood without constant adjustmens WITH "God's" organization.
Now ya see it! Now ya don't!
JW Doctrine is like the weather. If you don't like it today, just wait -- it will change.

I know this is not the quote you asked for, but the 09/15/2013 WT said this, "Because of our imperfect nature, we humans do not have the full ability to determine what is truly beneficial for us to guide our steps perfectly."
So "evidently", "apparently", it "stands to reason" that the GB is made up of perfect beings who have transcended being human. After all they have assumed to have the full ability to interpret the Bible, and to determine how over 7,000,000 mere mortal humans should live their lives day-to-day, and give orders on how to guide our steps that must be obeyed without question.

There's also a citation that says when people think they can read the Bible on their own without the help of the organization, they soon return to the old teaching of Christendom...

"It can be understood only in company with God’s true visible organization, the one filled with his holy spirit." WT Nov 15, 1961, pages 691&2, par 14
