Hence, how could he be talking about apostates, unless declaring it to be a turning away from God Himself, rather than an organization? -

By knowledge he is rescued because his integrity furnishes him with the points of reasoning needed to show that his accusers are lying.
Jehovah's Witnesses are supposedly "rescued" by their "knowledge" and "integrity" coupled "with the points of reasoning". The "accusers" on the other hand are "lying".
