Before I got involved ( After 1995 ) , like many , I knew very little about JW's or their constant changes in the " Truth "
Had I known, I probably would have refused them. Because the truth does not change

Now that the WTS has gone full steam in the promotion of their website through the very thing they warned against
they will now bring attention not only to themselves, but to sites like JWN, Freeminds, and JWFACTS
Through the means of the internet they will expose their own falsehoods

Through JW.ORG, they have begun to dig thier own grave
they will make the door to door work useless. A waste of time
because every house that has a mouse, will click and be aware of who they really are

LOL... what is mostly satisfying is this...
- a folk creates the piramids...
- the poor buggers are getting their asses drowned
- after the fall of babylon they return to egypt and create a complete new Dynasty... hooraaahhhh
It is amazing how people do deep research when buying a vehicle, looking for a boy or girlfriend, a wife or husband, a doctor, a good restaurant, but when it comes to religion.......well maybe some of those things. I have found that people tend to do more research when getting vehicle or finding a good restaurant than making emotional choices. Or they trust the advice of friends and family.
I eventually stopped trusting them, too many provable lies. And that love for themselves was more important than love for family or even the God they profess to love above all else.
Well, enough philosophy.
I was talking to a close jw friend of mine recently, both her & her husband are now inactive. I think her words say it all: 'the "truth" is not what it used to be, too many changes have made it too confusing & I don't know what they believe, or what I'm supposed to believe anymore". I told her I remember years ago when I aux pioneered, we were telling people that the generation that saw 1914 would see the end do this system, but they recently changed that to the overlapping generations which makes no sense at all. She agreed with me...

Thanks for sharing your observations on JW morale. It is fascinting stuff for someone like me who has 'escaped.'

Ask a Witness to show you where the overlapping generation is mentioned in the Bible. They can't. Their feeble justifications require crafty definitions. It's a doctrine JWs have difficulty explaining, let alone turning to scripture to support. Little wonder they adopt the very same mentality they condemn in churchgoers: Trusting their leaders to do the explaining for them. Morale is low -and understandably so.

I've heard from a reliable source that nine different KHs in the Peace River area of Alberta have been sold off with their congregations dissolved or consolidated in the past few years...
How much you wanna bet that low attendance (due to inactives and faders) was a factor?

I think sterility caused by inbreeding in such a small population would prevent those kinds of numbers; by the third generation, everybody'd be hooking up with their cousins.
