I just recently discovered the 'view tally'. Shows how much I pay attention. JWN is like my morning newspaper, or afternoon or evening. I like to check in and just read what interests me at the moment. I don't get that there has to be angst about staying or leaving. Just go and come back whenever you want. It's that easy.

Yes, topics are brought up repeatedly. And yes, it is still well spent.
Often, you start a topic for what seems the 50th time. I could start a topic today, and get one set of replies. Then, a few months later, I could start the exact same topic and get a whole different set of replies. New ones are signing on, and existing people are changing their viewpoints. One could start out being an active witless and not intending to leave. A few months later, they go to the cat lick church, are active there a few months, and then realize that isn't the truth either. They later join another xian religion, as often as not the born agains. Some later become atheists, while others become Muslims. They stay there a while, and again realize something is amiss. They start picking apart these platforms, and try other spiritualist religions. They might become Satanists. Or, they could practice Wicca, yoga, or other Eastern religions. It is a state of flux.
And, a topic that got one reply while such a person was an active witless will get another when they are xians. Later, when they try Islam, they get yet another reply. Some time later, they get the atheist view. Later still, they are in another spiritual religion--with yet another view. Combine this with that new people are joining this forum regularly, and I can see why the same topics are started regularly.
