This is not my group. Just FYI
Uniting all Ex Jehovah's Witnesses whether previously studying, inactive, disfellowshipped, disassociated, or thinking of joining the JWs. Many around the world have dedicated their time and lives to exposing the Watchtower Society's false doctrine, false prophesies, broken families, crimes, and more, as well as helping those hurt or shunned by the Watchtower Society. We hereby join together throughout all nations, standing as one whether outspoken or silent. If you are a JW looking for support, please request to join. YOUR POSTS WILL NOT BE SEEN BY OUTSIDERS OR ON NEWSFEEDS. Please visit our YouTube page at "Ex JWs" International channel. ***This group and it's members are seen but all posts are invisible to non-members & do not show up in newsfeeds.

I have to agree with Zed, unless you do not care who knows, Facebook is a bad idea.

Anybody who has to be concerned about privacy should not trust this promise.
Facebook is not called social media for nothing.

This is a CLOSED group. Get it!
Wow you guys sound like the first people who resisted credit cards.
I've been involved with the computer industry since 1985 . Consider me a expert. Facebook can be handled
with privacy if done correctly.

WTFree - Where have you been?
Activity on closed groups still shows up on the activity bar.
People who run groups still cock-up.
People manage to get into closed groups with the sole intention of outing others.
Get real.

Closed groups can still be seen on-line, the highest security setting is "Secret".

Yes I know "AR" from Egland. I'm just passing along this info.
Isn't using a "PEN" name the obvious solution

The membership of closed groups can still be seen to outsiders, it's the posts that can't. For members not to be seen it needs to be 'secret'. It appears that despite your years of experience with computers, it is YOU that doesn't get it.

And people who belong to it can add events to your feed, which are visible to others.
That was done to me. Twice. By a jwn poster.
Also, unless fb fixed it, people can add you to groups without your permission.
I hope we're not having really short memories about all this. A guy here says he was dfd for being outed. (I was outed too on fb.)
No thx. The percentage of ex-jws who have no boundaries is really high.
