I think this GB has more to prove and will go to further lengths to keep the rank and file in line. Former GBs could just rely on the End being in a generation. Now they have to extricate themselves from the web of technicalities with "new lite" and more rules. While Freddie was a delusional, narcissitic man, the reg jw wasn't aware of his high level of influence. Most probably still aren't aware. I think with the age of the internet this GB is trying to crush individuality more than ever. Conformity or else...

It's peaks and troughs in differeing areas although they don't seem to have relaxed anything that I can see.
From when I was 'in the thruth(R)' I noticed a slide toward praising them more publicly at meetings. It got to a nauseating pitch just before I left....partly because I was an elder and had to listen to vomit inducing letters being read out.
They certainly seem to be ramping up the control to fever pitch. I didn't notice it so much when I was in and I think I would have.
Bad. their stance on shunning....they seem to be really clamping down on that one. The whole 'mentally diseased apostate(TM)' thing...they seem to have backpeddaled without advertising it as per the new bible wording.
Insanity. Well, Freddie Franz was looney enough but they are getting dangerous with the instruction to obey even if it seems impractical.
Pick an area and I think we'll see the peaks and troughs tbh. Protection of paedophiles...don't get me started.
I think to define 'bad' in the context of 'dangerous' these jerks would probably show that they are certainly more cult-like and getting Jones town dangerous.

I feel generally, the most dangerous is one which is backed into a corner. Is the current GB getting backed into a corner? With the internet access of information for so many, I believe so.

They are all as culpable as each other, because they have all presented themselves as the means of salvation and by doing so, have invalidated Acts 4:12 - "there is not another name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must get saved."

This Governing Body has more cult leader tendencies. They have an inflated sense of self-importance, are attention seekers, are elevating themselves above all others, and demanding to be obeyed without any criticism or hesitation.
Past Governing Bodies were content to pull strings from the background. This Governing Body can't help but to plaster their faces on everything.
