HYPNOTIC.... That is a great word. Here's the thing, when I had all my meetings, the Eldubs said ," AMEN", and then a glazed look came over them. I was not hypnotized, they were. They are the ones who go into a robot-like trance, it's weird. I told my wife that one the Elders was a sociopath and that I felt as if I had seen a mask come over his face. It was sobering and frightening. NEVER again..

six years ago my Mom died. I attended a grief group handled by a certified counselor.
The ability to speak freely, and the support shown by, and for each member was just amazing.
If I had followed the advice, and mentality shown by the two elders in this video, I can say very securely that I would still be walking around with
a huge gap in my life. Not entirely from the death, but from the lack of basic understanding of what a person goes through. For &(^& sakes guys, the lady is actually talking about KILLING herself. Telling her to read some verses, and giving her an assignment ?? How about a suicide hotline ?
I keep in contact with the leader of that grief group, and she has mentioned to me that if someone even considers, or mentions suicide proper authorities such as a doctor/hospital/hotline should be spoken of . And the person should be assisted in getting the proper help.
Helping the person should be a major focus, not blathering on about examples found in the bible.
Unreal how the leaders of the jw religion consider their advise to be "the truth"
I will never ever attend a JC. If I am ever summoned to one for apostasy I might prepare some notes, refrences and printouts of WT pub quotes and let them have it, dragging the meeting on as long as possible while I tape it. My only purpose in going would be to let the secret star chamber proceedings be exposed for all the world to hear. There are too few online..

They are training the elders to interrogate. as I watched this video i saw a lot of techniques that professional investigators use.

Suicides must be picking up among them for this demo being necessary. (An improvement, that at least they didn't tell her to go out in field service more to get over it.) Depression must be running high,,the 'end soon' is feeling very uncertain anymore, I expect. The "end time" promise produced a 'high,' is fading, the mood is dropping among them?
In the suicidal video, notice that they are not at all interested in her as an individual or her problems. Their only concern - their only purpose in meeting with her - is to get her to "stick with the program".
But, our dear sister, think about poor Brother Smith who has to compile the field service reports. If you kill yourself, he won't be able to get your hours from you and submit the report to the society by the 5th of the month. That would not be very loving on your part, now would it?
So not only does Mary inform the brothers of her intentions of killing herself but she also tells them the implements she's thought of using: shut herself in her car in her garage with the motor running!
The brothers after visiting with Mary for about 1/2 hour of talk and cookies feel confident that they have just prevented an attempted suicide. So they leave Mary alone in her home with the her implements of suicide just a few feet away....her car in the garage with a full tank of gasoline!

So if they wwere in a skyscraper, and the sister climbed out the window and was on a ledge ready to jump, they would tell her not to jump, they'd read some scriptures to her...and then they'd leave her on the ledge and they'd go on their way, inside the building.
