Near as dammit five million quid for a warehouse with a bit of office space ??????

There are loads of empty warehouses and empty offices up for grabs for very good rates, rent or buy. Maybe not quite so close to Mill Hill, but it seems that is going some time soon anyway.

I guess it is easy to spend other people's money, and then squeeze 'em for some more.

    Bloody inept parasites.

My daughter who is out of the Borg now used to work for Pinnacle. She works in another office in Borehamwood and drives passed their aquisiton everyday. They have bought another building too it has JW.ORG stickers all over it. She says she gets nauseous each time she sees the buildings.

Buying buildings for storage huh!!! It's an investment, they will sell it for a profit in a few years as property round that area is on the increase and in demand, it's much cheaper than Central London properties and a nice sub urban village with lots of nice semi detatched housing and modern offices. WT know what they are doing with real estate.

It's all about the money. Kate xx

I suppose when you see things happening close to home it hits harder. I am so glad we are out physically and mentally, sadly the scars remain and news like this reminds us of the pain. Thankfully we are both out, it's heartbreaking when duaghter shuns mother or vice versa. Such a terrible thing, so I am glad my daughter can see the same as me.

Just seems a bit odd to be buying in Borehamwood while in the process of closing down Mill Hill & moving to Essex.

Maybe it's more of a short term investment decision - the usual Watchtower refurbishment & flip after a few years routine. IBSA & Watchtower are certainly not short of cash these days & have over 30 million pounds from congregation funds sitting in the bank.
