fulltime student, masturbation is a biological means to help keep a fresh supply of sperm. The desire and pleasure received during sex is also biological to compel the organism to reproduce. Sorry but your arguments are off base.

The evidence is growing that homosexuality is a birth defect due to hormonal conditions of the mother while the fetus is developing. The ratio of finger lengths of gays is different that straight. Gay men are more likely to have hair on the back of their head curl counterclockwise than straight men. Both of which are biological markers affected by hormones. Women who smoke or take estrogen are more likely to have gay children. Women who have multiple children are more likely to have a gay child due to their immune system reaction to male hormones. The brain structure of gay men has been shown to be similar to that of women compared to straight men. The increase of synthetic hormones in our bodies due to plastics, hormone treated animals has been shown to have an impact on fetus' in pregnant women.
Granted, it isn't a crippling birth defect being more along the lines of male pattern baldness than say Downs' Syndrome.

OK. But may I ask - how did you deduce this?
What are your sources of information?

Ugandan newspaper published a list Tuesday of what it
called the country's "200 top gays, outing some Ugandans
and raising fears of violence against those named just a day
after the president enacted a severe anti-gay law.
The dark ages, sick Ugandan. A media witch hunt.

SM, you are extremely ignorant and this is the last time I will ever address you. If two adult people decides to have life together, it is not whatsoever your business to tell them how to live their life, and how to call their relationship. Two lesbians can have children and rise them without father. They can get artifical insemination. They are family as long one of the partner does not walk away or die. It does not matter how YOU call it. I do not care, nobody in the universe care, and two people in the relationship certainly do not care. You do not decide what makes someone family.

katewild: thank you for your comment as a mother of a gay son, beleive me your views and opinions change when you hear your son crying himself to sleep, praying for the gay to go away, feeling lonely, hateing himself, all i feel for him is love, compassion understanding, and being here for him for whatever he may need. All the hate and antigay remarks makes me sad, we are no one to judge, Jesus taught compassion and only he will judge in the final day.

Not all Christian religion teach against homosexuality
It's practicly impossible to conciliate these unless you pretty much re-invent christianity and come up with a version of your own. If the bible says "The sky is blue", but you interpret this as "the Sky is pink", then what's the point? You are frabricating a new reality to be more self serving.
How is not supporting same sex relationships ignorant?
Forget supporting. I'm pretty sure tolerating would be enough. The expression "live and let live" is the true issue here.
Same sex relationships are unatural as they can't lead to reproduction. Basing a law on that undeniable fact does not make a person ignorant.
This very statement is ignorant. It makes as much sense as saying that there should be a law
against people with a third nipple because it's not really natural. There is reasonable evidence to suggest that being gay is at least partially motivated by genetic conditions. With that in mind, it makes sense that they are allowed to live dignified lives. -

Putting the shoe on the other foot ........
On a twist on homosexual twin studies, an Australian research group examined the question of whether homophobia was the result of nature or nurture. 22 Surprisingly, both familial/environmental and genetic factors seemed to play a role as to whether or not a person was homophobic. Even more surprising, a separate research group in the U.S. confirmed these results (also adding that attitudes towards abortion were also partly genetic). 23 Now, even homophobes can claim that they were born that way!

What percentage of world is Gay? In 2000 the numbers
here in the US around 1%-1 1/2%. Gay is not something
you catch. And the point about "can't lead to reproduction",
I don't think we have to worry about extinction for mankind.
