Yeah, that is something I take a lot of pleasure bringing out when some JW complain about how violant arabs can be in some other countries. I remind them that is is not for us to judge as they are administering, as a country, a justice that once was established by God himself. As JW, we must remain nutral and accept the fact that stoning, decapitating and burning people are methods of execution with God's own seal of aproval!

I also take the time to remind them that the WT also states that a country has the right to capital punishement. Therefore, we realy have nothing to say about it.

I find that when I bring this up, in general, JWs become very uncomfortable and don't know how to handle their emotions.

Sometimes, I add: If you realy want to have a feel for it, you can search for that kind of videos on the internet. It shouldn't be that bad to watch since back in the days, everyone could take part to a stoning.

If you show me a proof that jews back in Moses's days did this same thing I'll seriously re-consider the idea of not visiting meetings at all.

will-be-apostate, I don't know what you saw, but if that is not a stoning, then, I don't know what is... and obviously, Jews did it for the same reason some muslim still do: It was written by Moses!

I don't think ppl truly understand what they are saying, especially Jws. They are so hardened by the propaganda but so ill-informed ,they mouth these platitudes without understanding the reality attached to them. :-(

Wow... I just saw the video. By "stoning" standard, that is very humane. They left only the head out of the sand so that all the projectiles would hit the head and nothing else. That is much more efficient than if rocks were to hit the arms, legs, foots, and body as well.

By the way, please don't think that I condone stoning. I think it’s barbaric and such a practice makes me question the part that God actually played in the Mosaic Law. That being said, I am not against capital punishment either. Some S.O.B. have it coming. In such case, a bullet to the head (or heart) is probably the best way to go. It’s like getting stoned with one really fast stone right on the target! So it still is approved by God!
