Hello my fellow "apostates". Just wanted to say hi. "Hi!"

I'm still in the borg but mentally out. Will probably remain like this for a long time! But i'll have fun with it :-P

I'm married with a JW who is completely brain-washed and I serve as a Ministerial Servant and as a Regular Pioneer.

Welcome. Everyone has their reasons. I hope you can cope. Please don't make any converts.

    Otherwise, enjoy your stay.

    Welcome. Yikes!

How in the world can you regular pioneer? I mean, fake an illness or something! :)If its one thing you can get out of, its the pioneering.

    Stick around!

Welcome I too am an awakened MS. Faking is not too bad so far because I have great friends. It's a huge relief to have the guilt load removed. Devoting time to meetings service etc is more annoying though. I'll fade once I finish school and move away. Counting down the days.

I have 2 very close friends that know TTATT but they don't serve with any privs so I don't know the estimates of how many there are faking it.

It's not that hard for me also because I have those good friends that also know TTATT but being married with a believer of the lies is what makes it the hardest.

    FF,

Many people here have aspouse that is still captive mentally. it is really hard to see when you love them so much.

B2 is a member that can relate. His wife is still very much unavailable to think for herself.

My wife, was a pioneer for 15 years and I am not even close to 40 years old! I thought it would ruin us for sure. But I made sure to show love, hold my tongue, and show her the anguish I was going through. I made myself a better husband and man, and she eventually started to leave on her own. Neither one of us is DF'd, but the local elders don't want a piece of me. So we are essentially left alone.

What part of the universe are you from? I am in CA. Sunny CA.
