What a peculiar time when a long, happy and helpful of life is coming to an end.
When it happens as your mother's is happening, there is sadness--but sometimes a celebration of how entirely wonderful that life has been. What a success story that there is so much love in her end. Take care.

Sorry to hear JeffT. At such advanced age she may have lots stacked against her. It is very hard to watch our parents age and weaken. I am dealing with similar situation right now. I feel helpless as I watch my parents deteriorate. Keep strong and I hope your mom pulls through.

JeffT, so sorry to hear about your mom's declining health. What a wonderful tribute paid to her for her service to mankind. I am sure you are very proud.
Both of my parents are gone. It is hard, very hard no matter how old they are when they leave us, but you will be comforted by knowing that you have been with her and done all you could to help her and keep her comfortable.
Here is a cyberhug and I will keep you in my thoughts.

Jeff, I am so sorry you are going through this. Your parents had such a wonderful and fulfilling life and I know it must be so painful to see her decline. The article brought tears to my eyes. You must be so proud of both of them and you are such a good son to her. Hang in there.
