Here's three Aquarium dream interpretations I found searching google. They seem oddly fitting.

It may also represent being aware of how issues are effecting you, but being unwilling to confront them.
Red or black fish inside an aquarium point to problems you are noticing in yourself and doing little about. It may also reflect bad habits or negative thinking patterns you are noticing yourself having. Indifference to situations or habits that are excessive, scary, or deceptive.
Example: A young woman dreamed of seeing an aquarium filled with white fish that were having babies. In waking life she was noticing herself desiring a boy she liked while doing nothing about it. The aquarium reflected her inability to do anything except be aware of her feelings while taking no action

When you actually stand behind an aquarium, you’re standing behind a glass door and watching life inside the aquarium go by. You’re a passive observer. That’s partly what an aquarium dream represents—aspects of your life in which you’ve become a passive observer as opposed to an active participant.
What are the issues in your life that are important but that you’re currently indifferent to? Alternatively, is someone close to you experiencing problems in life but that you can’t bring yourself to care about?
Note the colors of the fish inside the aquarium as well. Red or black could point to problems, white combined with the water of the aquarium, could potentially be signalling that you’ve been driving yourself too hard and need a break.
Another interpretation of this dream, a common one, in fact, is that you have powerful feelings about something or someone but are refusing to acknowledge or confront them.
