Once you have been out a little bit and really opened your mind to thinking about stuff, you realize its not a big deal if you DID see her aquarium.

People who are young and single get together all the time and enjoy each others time and have SEX! whoopty doo. The universe won't implode just because a girl says yes to you and you spend the night or a few hours together. It is normal. I have young children, and while I won't encourage promiscuity or unsafe sex, sex is a part of normal life. I would MUCH rather my kids have sex safely and be NORMAL than that they get married at 19 or 20 and ruin their chance at college and a successful life.

Think about it. Would you rather your kids get married too young just to not have guilt from a normal desire to have sex, or that they safely do that and take time to go to school and find the right person?

Women are more powerful than they realize. They control at least half of the world's wealth, and all the sex. Not taking sexual crimes into account, women control who they have sex with and when. For males it's all about striking while the iron is hot. My favorite analogy is that of bringing the Space Shuttle back into Earth's atmosphere. You really only have a limited window of opportunity. There are 1,000 things that can go wrong at any moment, sending you into deep space, or to a firery death.

There is a lot of repression in JW land. In my experience, JW boys are the most clueless of all. It's actually very sad. It sets up a vicious cycle of ignorance and dissapointment in marriage. The boy knows nothing, he only has fantasies and theories. The girls know even less at times. Then they both are made to feel guilty about who puts what where..

Then the disillusioned dub [ male or female ] runs into "the world." They may be just as dissapointed when they see that the sexual freedom of the world is not what they were told. It's not like T.V or pornos. You don't just go do what you want with everyone. That's creepy. Worldly peopple are not partying every day and humping everything in sight. Sure that element exists, but it's a minority of people. The GB love to use that extreme to set up their own. A JW might end up married to a Nun. Nun in the morning and nun at night.

Anyway, the aquarium scenario is a prime example. So is the "prodigal son" video where he cries after sleeping with a worldly girl. She was so horrible, now his pee-pee is dirty! I used to think that I could go out and "get some" if I wanted at any time. That's because I had a skewed male-JW view of "worldy" women, thanks to the GB's mad ramblings. I thought, " I'm good looking. I'm a dub! These girls would be honored to be with the ol' DD." Now that I know how messed up I am, I think differently. I met a wonderful young woman recently. I knew in 1 minute that she was totally out of my league and that I was not worthy of her. I don't think I am worthy of the wife I have, even though she is a dub.

There is so much needless confusion and angst in the relationships of JWs. Thanks GB/FDS! I owe you one...
