hamsterbait: a cessna out of Finland flew down the Moskwa river and landed in RED SQUARE. tracked by military radar, identified as a flock of geese migrating the wrong way.

is it diversion to keep the public from seeing the real stuff happening?

Like the Hindenburg burning while borders in Europe were contemplated for re-arrangement? Further Direct Condor flights between New York and Berlin disallowed as sanctions?

Whether or not, we are being told everything, is an issue. The right of governments to keep secrets, is an issue that does not fit well with the theory of democracy.

But, the "why" is only a sidelight to the tragic fact that all these people have died. Their lives cut short. For me (as these sort of things do for me) a reason for my mood of deep sadness.

Search planes have photographed objects in the ocean that may be from the crashed plane.

It appears that the pilot sympathized with an opposing political group. When the leader of the group was convicted, it affected the pilot. But sadly the pilot couldn't just destroy himself, but he had to take others' lives.

If that is the case, why did he not just go and jump into the ocean?

Where do you get your information? The Malyasians and our own FBI (flew his at home flight controller to the U.S. to search the harddrive) cannot find anything that implicates either pilot or anyone on the plane. There has been so much mis-information on this story that no rational thinking person would definitively say anything about it. And Snow/Sylvia, try to stop being reactionary. Look at the data. Analyze it. Could it be terrorism? Of course it hasn't been ruled out but the scenario of flying for hours into the ocean doesn't play as a terrorist scenario. The same is true for a pilot gone bad. Could you build scenarios around either? Yes, but they would strain credibility.

No one kows what occurred, but to make leaps of gradiosity is simply silly. Let's let the data guide us.
