I bumped into an elder that wanted to help me. When I brought up the "this generation will not die" he didn't seem too perturbed, just stated that there has been more light on that! So gullible as ever!
Is anyone else completely astonished that they're drawing attention to 1914/2014 - 100 years

I was surprised that they mention it. I figured they would treat it as taboo for members to talk about it.
So instead, I gotta imagine that it will be embraced to be another "proof" that the end must be close. Just as good news and bad news of any sort have been "proof," so this will be.
I also would not be surprised if it's a test bubble floating out there to see if they can use it to launch the idea that the end "evidently" should come within 120 years of the beginning of the end, to compare with the 120 years of the days of Noah. Giving another 20 years would allow all the current GB members to die or be extremely old by 2034 and not be concerned about being responsible for the fallout when it doesn't happen.

Does anyone remember the study articles about "Parousia"?

EndofMysteries
they are trying to use reverse psychology, instead of defending why it's 100 years later, trying to make it seem like a good thing and how it is this time, etc, and based on the 2014 district convention, make sure everybody is putting everything, family, health, finances, etc, as second fiddle to worship of the GB and placing the magazines they defecate.
