If the circuit overseer is visiting your congregation, he will read this letter at the conclusion of the next congregation meeting.
What if the district overseer is visiting at the time? "Dear Brothers. I've been sacked. Bye for now."

Well, at least where I live, the 2 DOs we have hold at the same time a circuit office, (in a small circuit), so they are CO & DO at the same time. So this will not be a great change for them, in that aspect. However, they *were* a little bit superior than the other COs; they counselled and graded (via a written form submitted to the Branch) their suobordinate COs every 6 months; they were the ones to be preferred for instructors at MTS-and-like schools; becomning DO was the natural eventuality for charismatic COs. So much for their ambitions, now.
Of course, if the current DOs continue to hold the same small circuit they held until today, it will be a discrimination of a sort. I mean, some COs have circuits covering hundreds of miles, including remote islands. The circuits the DOs have are small areas near the capital.
Anyway, the answer to all this 'organizational' shifting is one: who cares.
Cracks me up. Was this letter read at the service meeting this week? I read it here before that. Then I got a forwarded email from an old witness friend who said that she was "told by some friends in the circuit work" that this adjustment was taking place. Yeah, right! She probably saw it here, or one of her friends did and started spreading the news. Everybody likes to be the first one to know, but this forum, right here, is right there on the edge!
keep up the good work, people!
