Hi Searcher, could you explain without being so cryptic because I have no idea what you're talking about.
Is it all about the money?

Frazzled UBM
It is a self-perpetuating organisation - the GB get the power and prestige because they serve the interests of the organisation. The GB members remain as GB members for as long as their interests are aligned with the organisation. Money is necessary to sustain the corporation but it is not an end in itself. The organisation is "Rutherford's Monster". He created it in its modern form to serve his personal agenda but it has taken on a life of its own.

Pride, power, prestige, authority, influence, control (money feeds it all)

The Golden egg of lore, ah yes... If it ain't broke, don't fix it! The Organization will survive as long as JWs in general believe in the myth of the GB/Channel of God. That myth combined with "everlasting life" vs DF'ng greases the skids and keeps the celestial chariot rolling. Why make huge changes when it's working? They only need to react to threats to survive. Why do you think they have such knee-jerk reactions?
Once a JW realizes that the GB are fake Fakirs, they really wake up. Unforunately for the GB, the only thing they are laying...is cable.
Don't worry, it's fake..

the WT/GB are obsessed by money if they were not they would remove the Contribution Box's to less strategic places , how often did we used to get "dig deeper" talks from ass'emblies and the KH ? at least a few times every year.

yep, Jesus never had to ask for money.
Seems like Jehovah simply cannot manage his Current Account, he owns all the wealth in the Universe, but poor struggling JW families still have to give more.
I don't think this even crosses the GB's mind, they are cosseted and cared for in every way, when you are like that the "poor", or as Jesus would have put it, the Meek, never cross your mind. ( A product of "power corrupts")
If a flcker of interest in them should spark in the brain of a GB member, he thinks it is in some way their fault that they struggle, obviously the R&F are not putting the $$$, sorry, I mean The Kingdom first, like he does.

OUR KINGDOM MINISTRY
March 2008
We Can Give Jehovah
4 Resources : We can also give of our material resources to support the preaching work. Paul encourged fellow Christians to " set something aside " regularly so as to have something to give to those in need. ( 1Cor. 16:1,2 ) In a similar way, we may be able to set aside funds to donate for local congregation needs as well as for the worldwide work, Jehovah appreciates what we give from the heart, even if it is just a little,___Luke 21:1-4 )
One " Little " dollar from each member goes along way. As in 7 million bucks for the WTS
5 Jehovah has given us much ( Jas. 1:17 )

" Charles Taze Russell refuse to imitate the churches. He wrote: " It is our judgement that money raised by the various begging devices in the name of our Lord is offensive, unacceptable to him, and does not bring the blessings either upon the givers of the work accomplished.
Rather than attempt to curry favor with those who had wealth ( Like Prince, Venus and Serena etc...) Brother Russell clearly stated, in harmony with the scriptures, that the majority of the Lord's people would be poor in this worlds goods but rich in faith.
