The so called 'god's way' of dealing with the talking snake thing seems very barbaric and backward.
Too much bloodshed. Too much suffering. The reward is obscured by god's incompetent way of dealing. Just saying

Still one of the best... http://www.jehovahs-witness.net/jw/friends/250009/1/The-Challenge-and-the-Result#.U0QPDKhdWSp
One of the reasons that many of us are here is because we woke up to the lies of "Christianity", JWism included.
As Terry said. one of the beautiful and merciful provisions of GOD is that we get to suffer. If we suffer enough we get to die a martyr's death. All so that God's name, [ that nobody can even know because it was not preserved] could be "vindicated."
This is the same GOD that killed Lot's wife for having a normal human emotional reaction [ that she was created with BTW] to an untold number of people dying by fire. Then GOD allowed righteuos Lot to bang his daughters two nights in a row, consequence free I might add.
To asert that GOD could not have stopped "Satan" because the other angels were watching and would have thought GOD was just killing Satan because he was more powerful, and not in the right, is ludicrous. SO.... the angelic son's of GOD are too stupid or faithless to believe their creator acted in the right manner. Really?? We lowly humans are to accept that when GOD committed genocide in the OT, that it was justified. Yet perfect angelic creatures can't understand why GOD would suddenly execute "SATAN??" REALLY???? REALLY?!?!?
I guess that's why humans had to write a flawed Bible too. [That's another doozy of a teaching.] I mean, if the Angels can't accept GOD executing "SATAN" without first witnessing billions of human deaths, then they surely cannot be trusted to write the Bible for humans. Geeze, look what happened with the Golden Tablets and Joseph Smith!
The answer was to let untold numbers of humans suffer and die, so that GOD could lean over to the angels THOUSANDS and THOUSANDS of years later and say, " See? I told you so. OK!! Hit the reset button!"
It's my experience that people with a victim/martyr mentality consider themselves better than their peers. "Suffering" confirms that delusion. Xianity feeds that skewed personal view of oneself. I guess when you think letting people suffer and die century after century, just so a few can be martyred in a "special" way is loving, we shouldn't be too shocked by other illogical views.

None of it makes sense. What i never really understood is the fact that jehoober comes across as a bureaucrat who can't help himself.
This idea... "well Adam was perfect and he sinned so we had to get another perfect man to die for him". Why? Who says that this had to happen? Is this some sort of standard operating procedure that jehoober set in place before he created mankind?
Even if he did, what is preventing him from making an executive decision to change it in order to save such heartache for mankind? What a load of hogwash.
What a colossal way of complicating things. It would make much more sense to simply punish Adam for his sins and move on with business.
Since Jehoober's standards never change i guess when mankind is perfect and living in paradise, and one person sins, Jehoober will kill him and then also kill another person as well to even the scale.
Since Jehoober's standards never change i guess when mankind is perfect and living in paradise, and one person sins, Jehoober will kill him and then also kill another person as well to even the scale.
And then it's back to square 1. More suffering for mankind......coz that's the love god shows!
People that worship God are like an abused wife claiming it's her fault she gets hit.
Wouldn't you lose faith in an all-powerful being that would change his mind??

According to the JW's 2 wrongs make a right.
Adam's sin + the killing of Jesus = Forgiveness and redemption for man.
I never could quite resolve that picture of Jesus and Adam on scales equaling out to justice to God.
I forget what pub. that was in.
Had to die? I think Y and no,
Yes because he was consequent and his service contradicted the religious and political background,
No, not to fullfill any prophecy nor to proof that a man can be faithful to God in the issue of Loyality
nor to be the remnant of Adams deeds. (These later interpretation of the happenings do not make
the happenings (e.g. pain and death) itself to something that was necessary to give as a remnant.
The first christian only tried to understand what they have survived and explained death and pain of Jesus
with the words and pictures of the jewish liturgy, temple rituals and the Olt Tesament texts of the prophets.
So as if everything what the jewish religion is about has been fulfilled truth jesus. (Pictures like the lamb that
has to be slaughtered etc.) But the death of Jesus or the blood of Jesus is not seen as factual sacrifice like
the blood of the goats and bulls that have been sacrificed for the sins in the temple. Jesus was not sacrified
within the frame of Jewish cult and rituals, and not killed in the Jerusalem temple, his blood did nof flew over the temple altar
of Jehovahs temple inside the city - Jehovah did not want his blood!
He was killed outside Jerusalem. The executioners were not priests but soldiers, that was no jewish cult.
not a fulfilment of any religious ritual! Thus Paul concluded in his writings that Jesus himself was the Highpriest and
he himself came to God in heaven. (that was an interpreation)
