Do any of you lovely ladies, or men even, have any NATURAL remedies for night sweats???
I'm going crazy with them at the moment.
Thanks in advance.

HRT ....for me it was the way to go.

Because of having had breast cancer I could not have HRT , my suggeston would be to go to one of those shops that sell natural remedies and get advice there .
The" tropical moments" do stop eventually , honest .

Evening Primrose oil capsules reduced the intensity of the hot flushes by about eighty percent but did not take them away completely and I didn't have night sweats at all. Hope that helps, sorry you are going through it.
Things to try or look up and see if they might work for you-
Apple cide vinegar (the kind with the mother) 2tbl in a full glass of water, do not drink as a shot it will destroy tooth enamel, try twice a day
Black cohosh
evening primrose oil as already mentioned
sage
B vitamin complex
meditation
Dong Quai
Red clover
ground flax seed
What worked for me: A lemon with peel and all, a cold glass of water to wash it down.
It will get better.
Hugs.

Throw off the sheets.
Hubby has frequently suggested I go roll in the snow. I haven't taken him up on it yet.
A glass of cold water to cool down your core.

Snowbird, how freaking long does this take?
For the lemon to work or the flashes to subside?
I think it depends on the individual.
For example, I only get the hotties if I'm extremely irritated.

Funny lady. How long does it take. I've lost track how many years it has been. Yes, I've flashed up with irritation, too. On smart days I dress in layers. This one poor co-worker, naturally irritating, I've stripped down to my (modest) camisole in front of him. And then re-dressed as we addressed the issue.
