The judge should have threatened her with removal to the criminal part for kidnapping. Kidnapping is despicable. Not the way to a judge's heart or mind. I would be an emotional wreck. Good work. What does a lawyer say to kidnapping and violation of court orders. Your ex is a low life. The poor child being torn apart.

I am very happy to hear that justice was done in your case. It is so sad you have had to go through this but now at least there is a vindication and better conditions under which you can rear your child. I think the witnesses really do think they are in charge when they go to the courtroom, it must have been a shock for them to be taken down a peg or two. They use illegal methods to harrass and intimidate and do not like it when the tables are turned and they are "deprived" the right to spout their nasty lies. Well done, you must be happy but exhausted and no doubt have used a lot of resources on this. I hope your child will appreciate in the future just how much you have fought so you can be a part of its life.

Bravo! Family court judges are the best. I've had the privelege to sit in on some cases and their uncanny ability to cut through the BS is a sight to behold. The great thing is that arrogant ex-spouses can't talk over them, push them around or bully them. This is the ultimate authority and they must bow to it.

Good for you, I wasn't so lucky, my ex lied and succeeded in stopping all contact. It took him 3 yrs to get a no contact order. He won and my son is devasted by the the result. I am glad you had better luck.
