I've been very angry with the Org. They've ruined families going into it and coming out. Its sick!

But I'm more at 4:(Big search/ Big decisions.) than anything else. Trying to figure out what to do. Still believe in God and Jesus, just dont really know how to go about it.

THEY got to ask the questions and THEY got to print the

answers leaving me with the only job left: parrot their ideas and let go of my own.

    .

Yes I always felt uncomfortable about that too, like you didn't have a brain or an intellect,

Of course the real reason was so they can brain wash people with their own self devised lies and misinformation which

were pretty much their marketing strategy for the proliferation of their publications.

    .

Ironically lies and corruption were what built up this religious organization and eventually it will

be " The Truth " that will bring it all down.

8.) Path to true knowledge of the soul and spiritual growth.

Okaaaaaay, so that would be number four, then.

    ( 4. Big search/Big decisions )

The search is over...no big decisions are required it has already been made.

and about that thing called TRUTH...well, IT IS STRANGER THAN FICTION.

Anger and amazement at others gullibility and inability to see the obvious

No guilt, so I can do whatever I have always wanted to secretly do.....(but I will have to be careful here I admit, this could get me into hassles)

I'm at no.4. I do feel a bit of no.1 and 2 the anger and depression but have generally moved on. I don't want to go off the rails and don't want to get involved in activism. I'm interested in moving forward wherever it may take me. I still believe in God but not religion. I feel optimistic and want to live a happy life (what's left of it). Family is important to me. I don't want to waste what's left of life in case this is all there is but I still have a yearning for spiritual things, although I believe even being atheist or agnostic one can be spiritual (with a love of nature, music, realtionships etc). Is there something after death? I hope so but even if not I can make the most of what I have now. I love reading and learning and I'm finding it's taking me to all sorts of new and interesting places.

Why is that you have to accept lies, ignorance and bullshit from men when you want and

strive to know and have a real relationship with god ?

To borrow from AA, I'm at step 12, sharing my experience, strength and hope with others so they can have an easier exit.

I have better things to do than be angry, protest or othewise get my boxers in a knot over JW related stuff. Besides I don't want to give the Watchtower that much power in my life.
