  Does anyone still pray to Jehovah through Jesus?

  I pray to the Father through Jesus. "Jehovah" is not his name. That is a name created by a Catholic Month. Notice what this WT article says:

  “The word ‘Jehovah’ does not accurately represent any form of the Name ever used in Hebrew,” says the Preface of the Revised Standard Version. But what word does “accurately represent” the divine name in Hebrew? Some prefer “Yahweh,” others “Yehwah,” others “Jave,” and so on. The problem is that when writing ancient Hebrew only consonants were used, and even experts admit that it is a matter of conjecture as to which vowels made up the complete divine name.
  One could also ask those objecting to the form “Jehovah” why they do not object to other names such as “Jesus” or “Peter.” Why do these critics not insist on using the original Greek forms of those names (Iesoús and Petros)? Are these individuals not guilty of applying a double standard in rejecting “Jehovah”?

  The problem here is that Peter's name didn't need to be made know. But JWs make such a big deal of making God's name known, then REFUSE to use the closest approximation to that name regardless of popularity. They make such a big deal about "restoring God's name", but then actually don't.

  Yes, I pray to Jehovah in Jesus' name, and my prayers are answered, usually affirmatively.

  Do you understand that the faithful discreet slave class comes from Jehovah? If you disobeyed the faithful and discreet slave class, you are disobeying Jehovah too. He will NOT answer your prayers. Get real.

  That has not been my experience.

  Data, my most recent experience (just a few days ago) is that I have been wanting a list of the members of my congegation so I could figure out how to spell and pronounce their names. I asked the Secretary of the congregation for a copy of his list but he would not give it to me because it has the addresses and phone numbers of everyone, and I guess he's not supposed to share that info.

  Well, they recently, this month, compiled an updated list of our field service groups and posted it on the bulletin board, and there were several copies there, so I grabbed one.

  Prayer answered!

  A friend of mine (non JW) told me about a prayer she had prayed about and it was answered within the hour. I told my mother about it (devout JW) and she asked did she pray outloud. I said yea.. she said well that was Satan manouvering things to make it look like God answered the prayer. I was disgusted with her answer!!!!
